Every single Nephite but ONE?

In the last great battle there was only one survivor. He lived long enough to hide the plates. No mention of The Three Nephites helping him.
Every other Nephite was killed.
No deserters, no conscientious objectors, no one hid in the hills or ran away.
Yeah..., right.

You have to ask why Moroni didn't at least save a woman or two along with some children and babies.
Nope, he let them all perish.
Selfishness?
Cowardice?
Desertion?

I suppose reading the actual source material would be too hard for you?
Let's look at what the book actually says.
Mormon, Moroni, and a small group of others did survive the last battle. Most of them were killed later. Several Nephites fled south where they were reportedly killed or defected. Moroni makes it clear that there were defectors.
So..........your self-congratulatory smugness at interpreting the text actually proves you have either never seriously read it or have never read it all.
You did achieve one thing. You gave me a good laugh for the day and I appreciate it and will ask God to bless you for it. :)

Zelph, I think you are confused. That is the Jaredites who ended like that. Or, maybe, it is yet another missing parallel between the Jaredite story and the Nephite story.

Well it's not like there is anther place in the Book of Mormon where there is only one survivor after a massive battle.
Oh wait....

DAMU's and other anti Mormons also purposely forget that Moroni wandered for 35 plus years. Plenty of time to get the plates to what was to become New York state.

You mean the Jaredites. The first person account that focused only on the battle and Ether was unable to know how many people deserted or routed? Yeah, that one.
Even so, we have two recorded survivors: Ether and Coriantumr.
So....wrong again.
Have I just grown smarter or was this board always this ignorant?

Omni 21
Ether 15:34
If you read without an imagination, and accept only stated facts, I do not understand why you choose to read. It is not even obvious that Ether ever died, based on that statement. And two other characters in the Book of Mormon simply walked away and were never seen again.

ZelphtheGrape is the comic relief around here. I don't even bother responding to his ridiculous posts. They are priceless by themselves and filled with clearly wrong statements and assertions.
