From one of my old comments:

There were a joke about an undefined metro line (the first on the European mainland, second after Metropolitan line of London), dated to fascism in an undefined country...

Mussolini Street - Hitler Square - Zoo - Great Circus - End Station.

Truth: there were stations of these names. Among others - but in this sequence.
Joke: nobody was jailed.
Result: the joke was widely known and spread in the hardest fascist times...
