Monson Court Case Update
From exmormon.org: After 3-4 hours and many flubs by church attorney, (calling church, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days", referring to church as the "company" before correcting himself), the court has convened until Next Thursday at 10am
I guess there is more to this than some thought.

Wow, that's a long court session.

I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who - is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are. - Milton Berle

What ever happens, this is going to be interesting.

It already is - and a lot more interesting than I thought it was likely to be, on balance. I expected some argument today, but not a whole day's-worth, and not at this level of detail and hand-to-hand combat.
Anything more next week will be pure bonus.

That argument has been put by the church's lawyers, as was reasonable. It has been answered by the other side. That was reasonable too.
Do you have, maybe, a string of twenty or so isolated words characterizing the arguments put by each side? That would be amazingly useful, and make you look really clever.
We shall see next Thursday which side the judge believes

That would be irrelevant, since this what is at stake here is what the Church overtly presents to the world as fact. Public statements are what matter most—the publicker the releventer.
