Oldie but a goodie: Show me the stone box!

Buried for over 1400 YEARS.

Built so well, that this stone box withstood the elements, kept out the roots, the critters, the moisture for over 1400 hot summers, 1400, fall and winters of lake effect snow, 1400 springs when all of that lake effect snow melted..

This stone box lasted for over ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED YEARS!!!

So Moroni took the golden Bible before any unbiased educated sources could confirm its existence, ok fine. What happened to this engineering MARVEL of a stone box? Did the locals use it as a latrine and fill it with excrement until it stinketh?

So, defenders, there is your challenge.

You might as well ask to see the plates. If God didn't want evidence sitting around of his involvement, then destroying the box would be a logical action on his part. So, if the plates exist, the box must have as well. As I've said before, the existence of the plates proves Mormonism has a basis in fact beyond a shadow of a doubt (and much more than that).

According to FairMormon/David Whitmer it apparently washed down a hill (emphasis added):

"there, on the side of a hill, found in a stone box, or a square space enclosed by stone on every side, the plates on which the revelation was inscribed. Keep in mind, Joseph Smith made statements defining the Book of Mormon as THE most correct book on the planet and the Bible was correct only so far as it is "translated" correctly...

Yeah well guess what? No where in Mormon history do we read that an angel came down with a jack hammer, not a flaming sword this time, and busted the stone box into a pile of gravel.

by the way, people like you come into my office from time to time making similar arguments and just as belligerent, sometimes even with friends or relatives, and always leave in tears of embarrassment or great anger for having been utterly defeated in their attempt to snare or trip me up.
