Don't mistake a disagreement with your dogmatism for ignorance of a field with which you are only dogmatically associated.

Totes.
We'll never be able to make the cultists understand. It's not like Christianity is a hybrid of Confucianism and the Egyptian cult of Heryshaf.

So when Servant says Mormonism is basically a cross between Hinduism and Islam, he (she?) could've just as easily picked Shintoism and Zoroastrianism.

Heh. I was going to compare Christianity to an ancient Egyptian resurrection cult and some really esoteric faith centered on a central charismatic leader, but couldn't quite nail down what I wanted to go with.

Definitely a John Frum cargo cult.

The decision in Europe you refer to is causing a lot of consternation here among net neutrality and free speech advocates, not to mention Google itself.
Many believe that this kind of ruling is unenforceable and will lead to more administrative and legal problems than the judges who made it could ever imagine.
It is likely to be a long time before Google actually removes and such information, European court or no. And, of course, there are always the web archiving sites to contend with. While it may be possible to make the damaging information hard to find, it is unlikely that it can be completely expunged from the public record.
Looks to me like a judiciary attempt to "un-ring" a bell. Pretty hard to do.
So far as I am concerned, it illustrates the imperfection of human beings. People who know and accept this will someday laugh at all ad hominem attacks.

Oh, good heavens, your rhetoric has skyrocketed beyond the ceiling of plausibility. You cannot possibly be this ignorant of Mormonism, Christianity, Islam, or Hinduism, which means you're just being dishonest for rhetorical effect. Why lie so flagrantly when you spend so much time spewing hatred at others for ostensible dishonesty?
And you don't believe that there is a sub-cult of higher textual criticism in the main Mormon Church? And save your demeaning rhetoric for CARM, will you.
What do you think about New Order Mormons? Do you relate to them?

I don't. However, it's quite obvious that Church history is not your academic acme. I suggest you take a few courses outside of the Mormon schools.
