It is the nature of the anti-mormon (not the one who simply leaves) to have "acrimony" towards the religion, it's people, and it's leaders.
I suppose you'd have to define "anti." I don't feel any acrimony towards the church.
Mormons don't respond negatively to non-believers or any type, until they bring in the acrimony.
Sure, just look at your posting history, which is entirely devoid of unprovoked acrimony.
When you LIE, distort, falsely degrade a religion, it's people, it's history, it's leaders etc. the anti cannot accuratly and truthfully claim the "Mormon" is the bad guy simply because we are critical of said judgments and the clear immorality of said person.
Speaking for myself (you were responding to me, so it's safe to say you mean me with these comments), I have never told a lie about the church or falsely degraded the church, its history, leaders, people, and so on. That hasn't stopped you from piling on the hate, though.
There aren't too many apologists I consider "bad guys," but there are certainly some angry and irrational people among them, such as people who constantly call us liars and haters.
It's the nature of who you all are. If you don't like "acrimony"..... stop the bigotry.
There goes the irony meter again.
I don't like a lot of things or people.....
You could have fooled me, as you're usually so full of love.
but I NEVER lie and distort things to have an opinion even if negative on them.
Nor do I.
In contrast, anti's lie about everything concerning the church.
I'm not an "anti." Are you?
Why should Mormons "respect" that??? That's pure bigotry.... and it's why the anti-defamation league condems anti-mormonism.
I don't respect liars. Nor do I respect people who constantly rant about how hateful everyone else is.
