If Kate Kelly started a church tomorrow...

Post by _beanboots »

I guarantee she would have at least 1,000 followers at the drop of a bonnet.

But seriously... can we move on? Let's get back to talking about Monson's dementia, boring niche church history information, and who's kicking the bucket next in the quorum of the twelve.
I make an end of my writing upon these plates, which writing has been small; and to the reader I bid farewell, hoping that many of my brethren may read my words. Brethren, adieu.

Let's talk about the way that Kate's husband was dressed today!

A baseball hat, a tie, tied to short, Levis, and a white cotton button down long sleeve shirt from cheapMart.

Your wife is about to make Mormon history and THAT IS THE BEST THAT YOU PACKED? AYFKM?

It shows what kind of men are willing to marry "strong, equality-demanding women."

He reminds me of those kids who get hugs at the end of special olympic relay races.

i don't know why a guy can't show support for his wife and Real Salt Lake at the same time, especially with Beckerman being in action against Portugal that day.

never a bad time to sport the claret and cobalt.

He got out there and realized, "I forgot my sunscreen. Can I borrow a hat?"

I've been there.

the cat went full on dilbert my friend. that is a short sleeve dilbert getup.

he better start shopping at Mr. Mac's if he wants to keep his priesthood.

i did not realize that the trucker hat was Real Salt Lake gear. that is sorta awesome.

my first reaction was that this dude was just a clown. but in really funny way, it is amusing as hell. the white shirt is priceless and a clear mockery. the DI tie, priceless, literally. the real salt lake hat, since this started during the USA world cup match, perfect. the sandals were a clear shot at the one true jesus of nazareth's absence from, well, pretty much everything but his attire. and look, he is white. that is hysterical.

"Rocks don't speak for themselves" is an unfortunate phrase to use in defense of a book produced by a rock actually 'speaking' for itself... (I have a Question, 5.15.15)

As a matter of fact, I don't understand that whole "sandals with socks" thing.

If this is offtopic, then go move...

I wear socks for every type of shoe. Sandals, oxfords, boot, tramper, leggings, whatever.
I don't like my feet to become dusty.
I don't wear vietnamese slippers - the type of gummy between toes.

There are some exceptions: common showers (campings, public baths...)
Because of preventing dermatophytosis.

I am not gay... I am a little socialist ... a little more leftist ... more atheist (You know, the environment rulez)

Haven't I enough class?
Is this something speshul American?

by the way in the middle, another mention of sandals.
"the sandals were a clear shot at the one true jesus"

I am serious. I don't understand...

Isn't fashion a cultural thing --- depending on place and time?

- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

I hear the LDS missionaries in Budapest offer English lessons.
