Isn't it interesting how she PROVES the Church's very point....? She is not a true believer, she simply wanted a religion according to her "own" beliefs and standards, and wanted the power to form it according to her ideology. If she had been a true believer who simply had a different opinion, she would be reacting very differently.
She is most certainly a wolf in sheeps clothing, and the Church had the process in place to protect itself, and it did so, thank God.
