I really doubt God the Father needs to come down here and rut in the mud with us primates. I'm sure such beings have a firm grasp on the concept of genetics and can easily create whatever species they wish. So your assertion that the physical form of Jesus Christ has to be the same species as the physical form of God the Father is ludicrous.

So did Mary mate with a non human? Or did her genetics combine with those of a non human? That would be contrary to the doctrine of the Creation in which like produces like.

In addition, the only way mentioned in the scriptures as to how Gods are made is by the Deification of homo sapiens.

In Primary, the children are taught that God is the Father of Jesus Christ's physical body in the same way our fathers are the fathers of our physical body. For example:

Jesus Christ is the son of Heavenly Father

Tell the children that each of them has two fathers: an earthly father and a Heavenly Father. Our earthly father is the father of our physical bodies. Heavenly Father is the father of the spirits inside our bodies. Jesus has only one father, because Heavenly Father is the father of Jesus’ spirit and his physical body. That is why Jesus is called the Son of God.

All the doctrine leads to it. In Primary, the children are taught that God is the Father of Jesus Christ's physical body in the same way our fathers are the fathers of our physical body. For example:

Jesus Christ is the son of Heavenly Father

And as I've already pointed out to you, just because something is taught to Primary children - that doesn't make it right.

I already understand that you don't believe the doctrine. I think it would behoove you to be honest and state those doctrines which you don't believe before you teach something as LDS truth.

Again, I don't know why you don't get this point, but I'll say it again - not everything taught as doctrine in the LDS Church is the truth about Mormonism nor is it necessarily correct. Especially when it contradicts the scriptures and what is practiced in the temple.

Now, you are free to believe any silly little thing you wish that is taught in church. That does not necessarily mean it came from God or is the truth however.

The Church teaches nothing except it's own official doctrine. See how long you remain a member in good standing (assuming you currently are) by standing in front of your local ward building on Sunday morning warning parents that what their children learn in Primary isn't doctrine.

Especially when it contradicts the scriptures and what is practiced in the temple.

What specific doctrine on this issue does the Church teach that conflicts with the temple or the scriptures?

This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Correction, the Church really doesn't know what it's own official doctrine is anymore. So it just teaches stuff it thinks won't cause a PR sh1t storm.
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

You have to believe that way because it's the only way you'll get others to believe your straw man version of the Church.

Today's anti Mormon straw man is tomorrow's official essay.
