My Dear Bazooka,
Please accept my deepest apologies for my insensitivity in exposing you to the evil influence of the exposed shoulders of women found in that link. I personally know how naked shoulders can drive we men crazy at the sight of bare female flesh, tantalizingly peeking out below a hemline or a cap sleeve let alone a bare shoulder. It was inconsiderate of me not to have placed a warning notice when I posted that link…a link that needlessly exposed you and others to the enticing influences of bare exposed female shoulders…it’s difficult enough when these images dance across our minds but to have them there before our very eyes in picture form…ogling and beguiling us…Oh the depth of the shame I feel for placing you and others in a situation where you were exposed to these evil influences…I am forever sorry.
Craig
Craig, whilst I accept your apology, I have subsequently had to resign my calling as Bishop of a ward in Boise Idaho.....

I can understand the argument that having a dress code for toddlers and young children somehow "sexualizes" them, but I don't see how having a dress code for teenagers who are already living in a highly sexual culture somehow adds to that "sexualization". It seems entirely appropriate to have some standard of what is appropriate to wear to school, even if there might be some disagreement over what that standard is.

I think the problem here is a public school coming up with a dress standard from a particular religion. I can understand why people may not like a religions standard being forced on them. Should public schools in Afghanistan force burcas on all girls?

Sorry, it's a hot shower for me. I have x-ray vision and they are wearing split panties and peek-a-boo bras.

Simple solution. The reason women started shaving in the 20th Century was because clothing styles exposed the body. A backless cocktail dress just isn't as flattering if the gal has three inch underarm hair.
So since we are trying to get LDS gals to cover up then let's just promote the idea that when Paul was speaking of women not cutting the hair on their head that he meant hair on the body as well.
When LDS young women toss their razors then they will also toss their revealing blouses, dresses and shorts, not to mention swimming attire. Problem solved.

OK just so they don't toss those split panties and peek-a-boo bras.

When you think about it, Mormon dress standards are akin to blaming the banks for bank robberies because the money they store, and the way they store it, is simply too tempting to the robbers.
