So, what did you learn from those 10 hours that you did not know on Friday, October 3?

So more was revealed from the playing field of LES than from the pulpit this General Conference weekend. Maybe these days, the Brethren are the BYU football team, not the FP/15.

Football is ALWAYS more interesting than conference. Now, if they had wheeled Taysom Hill up to the front of the conference center and healed his broken leg with a Priesthood blessing on Live TV, and then after the blessing, had him jump out of his wheel chair and run down the aisle wearing his football jersey while the crowd cheered wildly, THAT would have been impressive.

My favorite thing about G.C. used to be..... In my pre-teen years, rural Washington state. We averaged making it to church about 6-8 times a year. I swear, probably 6-8 times during this period, we would make the effort to show up at the branch, only to find things locked up tight.....Then it would dawn, oops. General conference. Dang. Oh well, lets go home.
