Mormon Corporation gives up Marriage, Here's Why

In Kevin Graham's post "This is Huge Folks" viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36026 he cites the Mormon Corporation abandoning the civil portion of marriage.

My parents we actually married at the "hitching post" 60+ years ago.
