Hi Little Nipper,

You'll have to do better than bearing your testimony. :) Please answer the following questions so I can follow your understanding of your god:

1) Are your three gods unified in effort, literally three different entities, but referred to as God (sort of like a corporation)?

2) If not, can you explain how the three are smooshed together, and are one literal god (which looks to be immediately contradictory)?

3) Can you explain, from your quoted statement, how all that was necessary if God exists also in the 4th dimension and thus sees & controls everything He designs from start to finish... In other words, what's the point of it all since God literally views everything all at once, is eternal, designed everything from start to finish, and thus controls absolutely the Total Narrative?

4) Did you watch the video starting at 5:07?

There are 3 eternal persons existing as 1 essence known as God. God knows what will happen. Yet, He is determined to allow what will unfold, so that He can permit a select group of individuals He knows will come to have faith in Him to eternal reward, at the eternal expense of all others. And this occurs through both application of His Perfect and Permissive will.

Ok. So you didn't answer my questions which I took the time to enumerate for you. I'll just have to accept that you go on autopilot when asked to use your brain. Your testimony does exactly zero to help me understand whatever it is you think your god is, and why it's important existentially.

I know (I was certain) that this is the case.

Ahem.
You are one of the selected group of individuals.

by the way
"selected group of individuals" or "chosen nation"
Measly argument --- one dime a dozen --- to hide the "god said me that you have to believe (and pay) me".

I'm confident in the message found throughout the Bible. The Bible is there for anyone to read and lean on God for insight and understanding. And I am aware of what the Bible reveals concerning Hissalvation. I know that I want to be with God and I'm learning to trust in Him more each day for strength and guidance.

leaving aside the question of whether Scrooge was a Christian or No True Christian, to say that he was a man "whose only god became money" is a serious misreading of Dickens' classic story. i suggest you re-read it.

perhaps you were confusing Ebenezer Scrooge with Scrooge McDuck (not the same person).

I've read the Dicken's version quite a number of times. I've seen just about every movie and cartoon (including Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol) and I visited the Strawbridge and Clothier 2/3 scale, walkthrough Christmas Carol, now located in Macy's at the old John Wanamaker building on Market St. in Philadelphia. Ebenezer became so focused on/addicted to money -- to the point that he didn't even want to spend it on HIMSELF ----- much less on others. Of course Ebenezer had other motives; however, his idol became a need to have money. The simple fact is that Scrooge is portrayed as a man who finally realizes that God gives us but one opportunity to live life in the present. Once this time is over, there is no reprise. There is only eternity where perhaps some (if not many) will ponder their own shortcoming, mistakes, missed opportunities, failures, shortsightedness, evil indulgence and ungrateful stupidity.

My prayer is that you become an individual who points people towards the Lord and not to materialism. Yes, we can be an influence for good or evil. Which one do you want to be.

If there was one post that proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have no idea what you're talking about, this is it.

So, what is the "scientific" proof of how life originated here on earth? Please provide a repeatable experiment, so that we may create life from inert substances. That way, we will even be able to breed new species from that life we originate during this "scientific" experimentation. I'm sure that a person such as yourself, "who knows exactly what he is talking about," will be forthcoming with the ability to replicate life using our brains ----- exactly what you seem to believe "nature" accomplished without one. If you cannot, you may just wish to consider that God did, and even created the inert matter, time, and space.

Please LittleNipper, tell me what evolution has to say about how life began on earth, and describe what you find objectionable about it.

I was unaware that Dickens wrote the summary text you copied from e-notes. Learn something new every day.

The summary text is generic. The story has been told and retold so many times that everyone should know what it is about. I'm very glad that you can learn anything with that chip on you shoulder. It would be so much better, if you'd just admit that Scrooge idolized money above all else, and then move on.

So, you do believe that there must be a GOD and that HE created life. Evolutionists must believe that the "life" GOD must have created, merely became more complex as a result of some environmental necessity. Is that what evolutionists say? And with all this "evolutionistic understanding", society is fast becoming so much more GODLY.
