Nihilism = Misery.
Most of the critics on this forum are Nihilists, though I doubt they'd admit it. They really don't believe in anything and I doubt many have any sort of morals at all given what they say. This is the BIG problem with critics of Mormonism. They really don't have anything positive to contribute. All they do is dwell endlessly on what they don't believe and dislike. It is a combination of nihilism and the superficial (in that this life is all there is) that is rather distasteful.

No Morals huh? Instagram poll. How many exmos here have killed people since leaving the church? How many have committed any sort of felony? How many have left their spouse and kids for a two cent hooker?

It's so easy to claim what everyone else believes when you're full of narcissism and of course (since you are the end all be all) have seen the Space Alien Gods. We all know about bad acid trips but you don't even have that to fall back on. Just delusional rantings and arrogant assumptions that are so silly you can't find any forum that will take you seriously. Plan 9 from outer space is brilliant compared to the lunatic ramblings you offer up in all seriousness as some sort of rebuttal to reality. If you weren't so deadly serious, you might actually be amusing but alas, you will continue on, oblivious to the fact that you should be institutionalized as someone's pet project so they can try and figure out what goes terribly wrong with some of the humans that inhabit this planet.

Thanks for being an example of what I stated. Your statement here is derogatory and just another in a long list of personal attacks. And let's suppose you are right and I am delusional. What does it say about your character that you go out of your way to attack someone that is mentally ill? And that is the reason people like you (and most of the cirtics on this forum) disgust me so much because you are so petty, vile and cruel. You lack human compassion and empathy. This forum is just one constant display of the very worst of human nature and the ugly disrespect of other individuals. That is another reason I don't think of you as an intellectual. Truly intelligent people don't have to degrade themselves by acting like that.

Tobin, if you are going to criticise others for certain behaviours it's probably best if you don't display those very same behaviours. Otherwise you come off as a bit of a dick. I have no idea if you are mentally ill or not (how would we be able to tell either way?), but I do have a firm diagnosis that you are for sure a bit of a dick.

Just dropped in to say, as always, Darth is the best at what he does and that is pointing out the hypocrisy of groups and individuals and does it in a very witty way. Always love me some Darth posts.

Sorry Tobin, but you are the one who has gone to great lengths to attack me (and everyone else you can) at every turn. You own the word petty (see above). I have plenty of human compassion and empathy, that was a heads up for you to get help. How many times have you called me names Tobin, for posting Church History? You are the pot calling the kettle black and a good example of a weirdo that has nothing better to do than attack other people. Get help. You need it. I'm sick of your constant BS and delusional rantings.

It does remind me of another's analogy...
We all need to use the lieu at times (we need to vent) - but it's common courtesy to spray some air freshener afterward.
God knows we all have reasons to be angry - unrealistic expectations. Still, as you implied, it's healthy to also appreciate and contribute positively.
