Do you believe that a caucasian resurrected native american told the founder of your church to dig up a book made of gold plates?
Do you believe that Joseph Smith gave these gold plates back to the floating white guy who took them to heaven?
Do you believe that an angel from heaven appeared to the founder of your church and told him to choose sex with teen age girls behind his wife's back or death?
As I have stated, I do not share a belief in metaphysics here.

These elements of the well-known story of the founder of your church are metaphysics?
I mean, the question of whether or not Joseph Smith got the gold plates from which the Book of Mormon was translated is some kind of weird and unwordly question, such as how many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Everyone has his own private, personal Mormonism. That's what happens when you have Etch-a-Sketch doctrines and McChurch leaders.

Three times [David Whitmer] has been at the Hill Cumorah and seen the casket that contained the tablets and seerstone. Eventually the casket has been washed down to the foot of the hill, but it was to be seen when he last visited the historic place.[67]
Wonderful! I'm sure any moment now BYU archaeologists will send a team to scour/excavate the site to provide us with home run evidence of the Book of Mormon's historicity! Forget NHM. I want the stone box!

In the face of madness, rationality has no power - Xiao Wang, US historiographer, 2287 AD.
Every record...falsified, every book rewritten...every statue...has been renamed or torn down, every date...altered...the process is continuing...minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Ideology is always right.

Actually I think Bot needs to make 3 trips to the Emerald City. One trip for sure to get the courage and a second trip because I don't think he has a heart and well brains....he has some but they concentrate on grammar and spelling. Oh and his lawyer is an idiot maybe the Wizard can refer him to a smarter one.

This has always mystified me. It would be the greatest archaeological find in US history, but....naw.
I'm here to dispense what information I might have, to mock the mockers, to make entertainment of those who just can't let the Church go, to point the finger at the critics of the church who still retain their membership (or admit home teachers, or variations on that point), to poke holes in the gas bags lawyer critics here, and to generally show that angry ex-Mormons don't have much of a sense of integrity, dignity or humor. But I am not here to "bear testimony" about my belief in the Church. You can call me dishonest for refusing to do so, but I'm not a dancing bear.
And for the idiotic claim that I post anonymously, I simply direct you to the link in my signature.

That's funny crap right there. All hail Mr. Bot and his higher purpose in life to defend the great and powerful COJCOLDS!!! The hypocrisy in your post is almost too much.

Yes, Robert D. or Bob
Hey Bot since you are the head of the grammar police on this board I would like to ask a question. How do we get Bob out of Robert? Or Jack out of John? Or Bill out of William? I am curious! But the one I really want to know is how we get Dick out of Richard?
