Question for Yahoo Bot

On a different thread you pulled the persecution card:
YahooBot wrote:I have committed to never say how I really feel about the Church, as it is subject to extraordinary mockery on this board.
Do you believe that Joseph Smith was told by Jesus Christ that he would restore the "gospel" to the earth and that he would be a prophet?
Do you believe that a caucasian resurrected native american told the founder of your church to dig up a book made of gold plates?
Do you believe that Joseph Smith gave these gold plates back to the floating white guy who took them to heaven?
Do you believe that an angel from heaven appeared to the founder of your church and told him to choose sex with teen age girls behind his wife's back or death?

I'm just waiting for the Church to go back and grab the stone box the plates came out of... All they have to do is literally go back there, grab it out of the ground, and wow the world.
That's it.

OK, while we wait for bot to find the courage to answer my questions, lets talk stone box.
Yeah it really should still be there.
Fer'christssakes lasted for over 1400 years!
It was so well engineered and constructed that it hermetically sealed the contents for 1400 winters filled with Lake effect snow storms! It was placed so well that erosion and natural soil movement did not affect it!
Yet, bot will tell you that he also believes that such an engineering marvel broke into pieces and washed down the hill side and apparently dissolved.

It will be a long wait. He's not even made it to the Emerald City yet, and of course, the Wizard will insist he go fetch the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West before he will give Bot courage, the courage needed to answer your questions.

Don't hold your breath. The stone box survived for 1400 years but within a few years of the magic plates being found the box did something amazing and got washed down the hill. That's right folks... A stone box got washed down a hill.
Don't worry though... It was seen before the deluge by several reliable witnesses like the Whitmer crew.
Three times [David Whitmer] has been at the Hill Cumorah and seen the casket that contained the tablets and seerstone. Eventually the casket has been washed down to the foot of the hill, but it was to be seen when he last visited the historic place.[67]

No problem - have we not all had a similar experience?
What happened is that the 'stays in place, stays in one piece (well, actually two pieces)' warranty was for only 1400 years.

It's not that interesting of a point. If God can remove the plates, he can remove the stone box. God is hiding the evidence if Mormonism has a basis in fact.

Isn't that Gnosticism in a nutshell?

Yahoo Bot's a coward and will never answer these questions truthfully.
