And here we are two years later and the play is still SOLD OUT every night it plays. I have no doubt that it will be sold out in Salt lake City later this summer as well. I can hardly wait to hear the weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth when it rolls into town. Can hardly wait.
Me too!

I actually went this afternoon to see The Book of Mormon Musical with family in my city. I thought it was very clever and entertaining. The group dancing and singing numbers were my favourite. Several family members loved the Spooky Mormon Hell Dream scene. There were some parts that my niece and I agreed that Mormons don't say, like the scene where the Mission President visits and he and several missionaries say "Praise Christ". I don't know any Mormons that say that. We did a lot of laughing, it was great.

I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who - is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are. - Milton Berle
As soon as you concern yourself with the 'good' and 'bad' of your fellows, you create an opening in your heart for maliciousness to enter. Testing, competing with, and criticizing others weaken and defeat you. - O'Sensei

Ahh yes the act with the dancing Starbucks coffee cups and the lead belting out, "I CAN'T BELIEVE JESUS CALLED ME A DICK!"

They don't realize it, but Mormons only give "praise to the man".

I feel like the kid that announces the emperor has no clothes - the play is not entertaining folks..

Because the endowment movie is so consistent, well written, attention keeping...
I'd like to hear a second opinion from Sister Normal Guy in Salt Lake City, UT....
“When we are confronted with evidence that challenges our deeply held beliefs we are more likely to reframe the evidence than we are to alter our beliefs. We simply invent new reasons, new justifications, new explanations. Sometimes we ignore the evidence altogether.” (Mathew Syed 'Black Box Thinking')
