Didn't GBH bring forth the revelation on earrings? Didn't he bring forth the Proclamation on the Family that teaches us that the 1950s family unit is the godly one and that the intersex have no place in the POS?
I'd call that giant something...
Giant pandering to the Religious Right and its wing of the Republican party.
Giant surprise that Mormons have since risen higher in the national party hierarchy, including candidate for President.
Considering that GBH actually ran the church first and second hand almost thirty years if not more and has been dealing on the inside since the 1930s he has laudered more billions than any gangster in history using tithing to fund temples that do not serve the Lord's purpose for every work for the dead was to be initiated by revelation and not baptism for every name that they can get their hands on to justify the waste instead of seeking to discover and impliment the laws and powers of Zion lest the world be wasted at the coming of the Lord.
The man did not have an authentic spiritual bone in his body. He was a giant of priest craft scolding the people in high minded hypocrisy... Don't get me started.
Gordon B. Hinckley stood for something: "I don't know that we teach that!"
He also stood for something by coming up with the Proclamation of the Family, which was a yellow-bellied way of denouncing same-sex relations rather than just coming right out and saying what he thought.
He prophesied a fantastic new year just hours before a Tsunami killed 200,000+ people.
He watched one too many Anthony Robbins Real Estate videos and built too many temples, and then spent billions on a mall at the top of the real estate bubble.
He threw huge expensive birthday parties for himself.
He held an honorary doctorate degree from BYU Idaho from back when it was a 4-year college.
He was basically a white-wash journalist and kissed ass to the top. I'd say he's a good example of how to succeed in the corporate world without actually knowing anything, but because so many LDS men are following his example, it's a crowded trade so don't count on it getting you anywhere.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.
