http://www.mormonnewsroom.in/article/dr ... ore--indiaBangalore India. A city where tens if not hundreds of thousands of US jobs have been shifted.
A city with more than enough money to provide a few hundred wheelchairs to handicapped people.
PR BS from LDS Inc.
Hey LDS Inc, may we ask which US medical supply equipment company took a write off for dumping those old wheelchairs?

TSCC really goes over the top with self promoting. I think it tends to devalue their efforts.

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Mathew 6:1

Wheelchairs you say?
I think you'll find they're more accurately called: "Mobile advertising units."

I wonder if James T. Reynolds Sr. was involved in this charity.

Now it really make sense!
You send these things out to a poverty-stricken village (where people are crawling about on the ground for lack of a wheel-chair), and the villagers can't read the slogan, so they won't know who sent them. In any case, even if by some miracle they ever met a missionary and got baptized, they would never generate a worthwhile amount of tithing.
But send wheelchairs to Bangalore, where people can read, and even in some cases earn good salaries, and get a reasonably smart-looking guy to run around in one, and you got yourselves some potential income-streams there!
