I heard all shows were sold out for the two weeks they are in SLC.

48 hours after tickets went on sale it was sold out.

LDS Inc can only dream of such success.

The church newspaper has already bashed the show:

I've seen it before. I loved the part where the mishy was reading from the Book of Mormon and read the part to the natives about the people's skin turning black when they sinned.

It should come as no surprise that the Deseret News gave this play Twelve Thumbs Down.

Yet they supported it by placing three advertisements in the playbill!

The playbill did include three advertisements from the Mormon church, including a picture of a smiling man with the words, "You've seen the play, now read the book."
