One of my favorite Irish toasts - For your dear husband!
Health and a long life to you.
Land without rent to you.
A child every year to you.
And if you can't go to heaven,
May you at least die in Ireland.
Peace,

Nothing to say - Just couldn't stand seeing the "Non-Believer Only" thread above this one!
All better now.

This Never-Mormon is checking in to say "hi".

I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who - is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are. - Milton Berle

Hi Maureen. Thanks for joining us. Anyone new to the group has to give a detailed life history leading up to what brought you here.

Met my LDS friend in high school, took the discussions, agreed to be baptized when I was 17 but parents would not give permission. Changed my mind by the time I turned 19. Met my husband at my LDS friend's wedding. He was brought up Mormon but knew at a very young age that Mormonism was not for him. We have many Mormon nieces and nephews. I have a interest in Mormon history. I think I heard about Mormon Discussions from someone on lds.net.
And I also have a morbid fascination with it too.
