I was a TBM until the age of 16 or so. I never had a problem with race, and was shocked when my TBM great grandmother (TBM mother's TBM mother) was upset that my sister married a black man.

It didn't occur to me that a Mormon could be racist. It seemed anathema to me. Not long after I left the church I came across the truth about BY and those that followed.

Yeah, it's being a narcissist when someone puts your name on something. If you had simply hit the "quote" button, that wouldn't have happened. But that would be too easy now, wouldn't it?

In his 1973 book entitled Decisions for Successful Living, Harold B Lee wrote this, Chapter 19 of that book (provided in full lest the TBMs would claim we were cherry picking and taking this out of context). He was the 'prophet' when the book was published
