It's all stage craft and gimmicks, as I said. Sure it probably intimidates, and possibly thrills this ONE young guy - hey an Apostle spoke DIRECTLY to ME! I am now special! I received apostolic direction! etc. Mormonism is forced to rely on just such gimmick moves since there is nothing else, no other evidenced ways to convince people they are the Gospel. Are any of us moved here by this? I'm not. Do you really think other than this young guy's mom and perhaps the lovely little girl waiting for him to serve the Lord, is convinced by this? Oh sure they will all walk away from this "lesson" feeling the Spirit...blah,blah,blah, being elevated spiritually, blah, blah, blah, but then reality hits them right in the head as tehy walk away, and nothing is solved. The crisis continues on full blown, with no detour or derail from the Melchizedek Priesthood of a show-off Apostle who was more intent on getting personal prestige than actually rescuing anyone. Again, the gimmick fails. It always will, and even the Apostles have their stupor of thoughts concerning how to actually accomplish the rescue that never works.
The elephant in the room is the middleman, the church itself. This is a salesman, not for people's spirituality, but for Mormonism remaining (was it actually ever?) in control. That is all any apostle ever chosen has cared about, and as we see here, their actions prove that point over and over again. The cure? And of course, this has been mine, and it may not work for everyone, but I rather do think it will because it does. Go to nature, sit by a burbling brook by yourself and listen and observe, walk through a forest, hike on a hill or mountain, visit an oceanside, walk through a vast wide open field and enjoy looking at the clouds, go to the real temple - the very earth we live on - and begin to look, listen, and learn from the actual teacher - the earth - the sky - the stars. There is where the divine is, not in any institution of men.

One thing that always seems so obvious when viewing photos or videos of Bednar is how he carries himself with regard to his physical appearance. What do I mean? Well, it seems that his clothing, grooming, and the neatness of his apparel defines him and sets the tone of who he is and how he expresses himself. You can see this in his posture and how he moves about and how he bends and plants his arms and the manner in which he uses his hands. Bednar is obsessed with grooming and physical appearances. His haircut can never be anything but less than perfect. His suit is always perfectly tailored and the tie has color and softness and pattern that is often striking but yet low key. Everything about his expression is determined by the clothes he wears. The clothes defines the man! Bednar is obsessed with how he looks and perish the thought he get a spot or a speck of dust on the sleeve of his jacket! Never could a smudge or a streak of dirt appear on his shoe or even the sole!
I wonder if Bednar has ever experienced what it's like to have dirt under his nails? David A. Bednar is all about appearances and he wants to be perceived as extremely well dressed and perfectly groomed. Why? Because it makes him feel more righteous and obedient.

Elder Bednar speaks in Mexico
Church News wrote:In one of the several missionary meetings, a young elder expressed uncertainty of how some of the Savior’s teachings could work in his life. Elder Bednar emphasized the difference between believing in Christ but not necessarily believing Christ, where one might believe the Savior’s teachings apply to others — but not to one’s own self.
Inviting the elder to stand and come to the front of the chapel, Elder Bednar looked him in the eyes and said: “I am talking to you. I am not talking to your companion. I am not talking to the people on the stand.”

Elder Bednar is a master in making others feel guilty and ashamed for failing to be loyal to the Church. It's not about Jesus Christ, per se. It's all about LOYALTY to the Church. You can't be loyal to Jesus Christ without first being loyal to the Church. Does this remind you of the
mutually exclusive clause? Remember, you can't turn left and right at the same time or you can't roll an even number and an odd number at the same time with a pair of dice. It's one or the other but Bednar wants his cake and eat it too. Bednar is a master at teaching that in order to follow Christ you must follow Mormonism. There is no other way. This means that those who are not following Mormonism are NOT following Christ which also must mean that only Mormonism is Christianity and the rest of the world is lost. Does that sound familiar? One true Church. Church of the Lamb Vs. Church of the Devil.
My friends, that's Mormonism in a nutshell. If you don't belong to the Church of the Lamb then you are a member of the Church of the Devil! Yes you!
The body language in that photo makes me uncomfortable just looking at it. It looks like he has the kid gripped by the arm, poking him in the chest as the kid seems to pull away. Yuck. It is creepy.

Bednar is the one apostle who actually believes his own deception, he thinks he really has the authority of Jesus Christ and it went to his head.

Holy Father Bednar wrote:
1) I wear a tie every day and maintain a large collection.
2) I wear perfectly white shirts that are clean and pressed.
3) I wear suits that are tailored just for me and regularly dry cleaned.
4) I wear shoes that are always polished and shine with brilliance.
5) I have my hair trimmed regularly.
Through the holy priesthood in me and by the blessings of the temple and the Second Anointing which I have received there comes a special voice and Spirit that speaks to me. It is through the name of Jesus Christ and by his authority that I minister to Heavenly Father's children. Righteousness and holiness is within me. Obey me.

Poor hungry David is wanting that pie but is too afraid he'll get fat and outgrow his suit.

Who can forget the awful and abusive demonstration performed by apostle David A. Bednar inciting feelings of shame and guilt in the minds of youth who fail to measure up to the gospel standards set by the Church?
Bad memories, for sure.
The law of chastity and shame on me!
