Who was your favorite convert?

Mine was a Jewish man that had the best porn collection. He had stacks and stacks of porn on VHS. It must have been over 100 videos and he had it on display like anyone else would have of their video library. He loved the idea that Joe Smith was a mason. I loved the fact that he was a Jew. That was the ultimate feather in my missionary cap.

I left the church shortly before turning 18 so did not go on a mission. I did have a girlfriend in high school who was a Presbyterian. She took me to her church a few times and I told her all about the Mormons and why it best. I moved away and we went seperate ways. The last I heard a friend completed her conversion and she married another nice young Mormon fellow. I have become Presbyterian. I am happy with the trade, I hope she is.

My grandmother was a Presbyterian. She was the best and way nicer than my Mormon grandmother(s). I did try and convert my Presbyterian grandmother. I'm glad she told me no thanks.

That's a rather sweet story.

I am not a member - never was - but I had one.

He asked me to baptize him, after the six lessons.
I should have photoed his face when he learned that I am only a longtime investigator...

Yes, it is.

Thanks, Huckelberry.

I'd have to say my favorite convert was me-- from Mormonism to a more more rational, prudent view of the world.
