Elder Bednar quote about what to expect during judgement day

Post by _MetalSlasher »

"Have you ever wondered what the day of judgement will be like? I can answer that for you. You don't have to die to find out.

If living the gospel for you is hard, if it's a chore, "oooh if I was just not a latter-day saint, I could have fun." If that's what you are like when you die, guess where you will go? With other people who feel the same way, because that's the law you have learned to love. If during your life... you have learned to love the gospel, guess where you're going when you die? With people who love the gospel.

The Lord is not going to have to tell you. When you come into His presence, you won't think 'gee I hope he's in a good mood today, I hope he gives me extra points so my grade will be a better.' When you come into his presence, you will go where you know you belong based on what you have desired to do and become on earth.

If you can look your bishop in the eye because you are worthy and clean, you already know what the day of judgement will be like. There's no awkwardness, no embarrassment, no shame. If you can't, you already know what the day of judgement will be like. Many people will come and want to shake my hands. They don't want me to look them in the eyes. Welcome to the day of judgement. You don't have to be dead to know what it is going to be like. So live the gospel joyfully. Living the gospel is not hard. Not living the gospel is hard and it is joyful to live it."

Where do we get all this Bednar Business lately?

I know what he means by love the gospel. He means love the way the church processes itself.
It is not the gospel of Jesus Christ however. Not in any shape or form and only wrath awaits anyone who LOVES what the LDS Church is doing today. It is in fact trampling upon the Holy One of Israel. This is important and vital to be understood with absolute sobriety of restrained pride.

The commandments of Jesus Christ require that you choose him against the world. Forsake the world means that you slaughter all your prospects with the world and disengage all hopes and aspirations of winning with the world. This take faith to step off whole heartily. Nobody does this today. I am the only voice I have ever heard my whole life who insists that Jesus requires this manner of faith to be chosen and visited of the promise of the Father in the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost to be sanctified in him and born of God and begotten of God a son or daughter of God. That is no mere joining the 'true church'.

If your faith does not bring you into actual contact with the Father and a full realization of his power in making you a new creature then you do not have the faith to obey the commandments of Jesus Christ and have no lot or part with him in all eternity. The temple be damned because it cannot make you clean and cannot sanctify you. In fact it defiles a sacred temple.....if you could find one these days...for the unwashed to enter them one foot step.

How do Mormons then figure that loving the Church's Way will get you into the presence of the Living God? How does NOT obeying Christ still let you in? It don't. Bednar teaches lies and sophistry to keep the money givers anxiously engaged in giving the Money Spenders what they lust for. That's abuse.

If Bednar tells members "he is scripture", that there are "no homosexuals in the church" etc he will be in a kingdom with all those other assholes who say and act the same way.

walking around kingdom town saying crap like that will not give him much joy I will confidently predict- the first buzzsaw he will run in to will be Jesus the Christ who will look him in the eye, stare him down and say
"i never knew you'-that will be the deal breaker unless somehow in this life he will read this board, have a true born again experience, denounce the Mormon BS and live as an authentic Christian- could happen, everything is possible with God 'after all the bedmeister can do".

Could Bednar get any further up his own arse?

Are these words really Bednar's ones? Anyway, this was written on a friendly site --- and they were not deleted. Up to now.

Elder Bednar's superman vision is just scanning your stomach contents looking for dill pickles. No need for alarm.
Kolob’s set time is “one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest” (Abraham 3:4). I take this as a round number. - Gee

The only way for the Bedman to come (pardon the pun) to his senses is for Susan to cut him off completely- she needs to shake out of the Stepford wives morman wife mold and tie his Johnson in a knot, and tell the Bedmeister that he will be sleeping alone with his Book of Mormon for a very long time if he does not become human again. Summing up "Bednar's hard on for humanity needs to be iced down badly!"

just pickling,

Bednar has been promoted from "scripture" to "Jesus."

This guy is a real up-and-comer.
