Exactly, Quasimodo. We ought to differentiate between points of view being tolerated versus being off limits. No point of view is off limits. But many aren't tolerated. But by saying they aren't tolerated, I mean they won't go unchallenged, often aggressively. But it isn't the same thing.

I think that if you personally interacted on and participated with the folks at the NOM board...and I'm only going off of my participation there in the first few years it started up...I think you might see that this board and that board aren't really compatible in some important respects. I think I've spent sufficient time explaining why I believe that to be the case.

Not to say that some folks from the NOM board might feel comfortable coming here, but I think there would be a slew of them that would find this isn't a good fit and that these Shady Acres are not the green pastures of their old familiar home.

MG

For reasons already stated I believe this is probably not a safe place for NOM's.

It would be nice if it was.

Wow! Are NOMs really that fragile? The ones I've seen posting here recently seem pretty stable to me.

They can't ever say that you didn't warn them, but I'll bet that they are quite capable of making decisions about the suitability of this trailer park for their needs, all by themselves. It's very easy for them to just not come back if they are unhappy.

An entire bus load of human beings (NOM variety) might be parking at the MDB and eating our food, drinking our water, listening to our country music and using our restrooms?

How freaking awesome would that be!

Welcome to all who have entered already and welcome to all who are considering doing so.

Peace,

No you don't have to do anything here. You're under no obligation to respond to every post that's directed at you. Engage it, ignore it. It's your choice.

There are other forums here. Try Paradise.

Thanks, honorentheos. MG seems to portray NOMs as frightened bunnies. I'm not sure that's true. Maybe MDB would be a nice graduation from a safe, sheltered backyard to a wonderful wide world of new experiences.

Perhaps. But it isn't correct to say certain views are off limits. Accuracy. It's a thing.

I draw the line at restrooms. How are we going to be able to tell if they are using the appropriate one?
