A yearly PEW research poll asks the question of a representative sample of US male Mormon adults over 20, "if at 16 you belonged to the Mormon church , are you still a member ?" until 2010 Mormon men answered in the affirmative in the low 90% range. Since 2011 the yearly answer has been "yes" answered by low 60% of male Mormons questioned.
To me that is a hellavu drop in membership- i do not know the number for 2106 or 2017 but SLC has got to be scared.
Are there other legit non-lds polls confirming?
by the way remember social science prof rodney stark who predicted in the 80s-90s a rapid growth in Mormons in america, well i emailed him and he indicated he had not done any work on Mormons since that study/prediction and had no further comment thank you very mulch!
