Jeremy Runnells Statement: Clarke LIED

Here is Jeremy's statement from his Facebook Page which he gave me permission to publish here:

I am absolutely amazed and astounded at the extent that Mormon apologists and General Authorities will go to in their desperate attempts to smear me personally and character assassinate me with lies and falsehoods.

A few weeks ago, a Mormon visited with Elder Don R. Clarke of the First Quorum of the Seventy and was told by Elder Clarke the malicious and disturbing lie that I disrespected my dying mother and her dying wish not to share the CES Letter. This conversation is recorded and the link can be found below.

My mother is alive and well. She was never near death. Her dying wish never happened. The story Elder Clarke shared with Trevor is not true.
If anyone knows Elder Don R. Clarke, please tell him that I'm waiting for his apology for smearing my name and character with this completely fabricated lie and falsehood.

The incredible amount of misinformation, lies, and lack of historical knowledge about Mormonism that comes from Clarke and Grow is simply astounding. I will begin posting from the beginning to the end of the tape. Part I will be up as soon as I have the next installment (almost done) of the History of Jo's Spiritual Wifeism up. This should be posted everywhere you can think of posting it. If I was a member over on MD&D, I'd post it there.

Scott Lloyd is going on and on today about how wonderful and honest the church leaders are (and how if anyone questions them, they are in the great and spacious building....blah, blah, blah).

If this is well documented, then someone should post it there.

I grew up in the same ward Elder Clarke did. He's about 6-7 years older than I am. I would submit the possibility that he was just repeating a untrue story that he heard, rather than that he would make it up.
