Look up the word. Any church is a cult.
There is no shame in a being a cult, only shame in being a stupid cult.
The every group of people has their dumb and needy, desperate for salvation types.

And people around here can't seem to stop judging the whole church based on just a few dumb and needy, desperate salvation type members. Most members, overall, are quite centered and reasonable people because they follow the church teachings and culture in a way that is true to the core of the religion.
