Another Waste of Authority Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Post by _Nightlion »

Holland is too easy a target. Let's get real against the spit and polish President Uchtdorf and his 'mis' take on faith.

https://www.lds.org/ensign/2017/04/the-just-shall-live-by-faith?lang=eng

Most probable I will be alone in my condemnation as the board could hardly care less about what they value least. FAITH

In a nutshell President Uchtdorf sums up faith as 'doing something good' as a reflection of faith in God and true religion.
This board in particular ought to reject a need for faith in God to do good. I reject the DRU's construct when faith in God is the focus as pure hypocrisy and a vile spiritual assault upon the witless LDS people who languish in need of true spiritual leadership.

How can anything outside the commandments count for faith in God? The intent of the LDS Church is a false construct to justify a religion that ignores the truth. This is done for its worldly lusts for the appearance of success and thus the acquisition of power and wealth. Nobody is going to work or give money to feel like a failure. The need for a consensus of what is counted for success is paramount in motivating people. Therefore we have had generation upon generation of apostate Mormonism propped up by the 'acting as if' principle of spiritual error. This is sophisticated hypocrisy. It is seated in pride and not in God.

Faith in God commands the desire and action of forsaking the world and its open warfare and violence against God with a contrite broken heart that repents of the world's refusal to worship God in truth. The truth is that God WILL fulfill the promise of the Father that Jesus administered by commandment that all his followers MUST obey.....to seek after and not slack off until one is visited by the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost. (See Acts 1) Thus is the kingdom of God. ANYTHING less is rebellion and counted worthy of the flames that Jesus also cautioned us he would bring upon the world.

Luke 12: 49
49 ¶ I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

As Joseph once said, 'God is not trifling with us'.

The world is so far gone that empirical evidence is now openly displayed against the rebellion of mankind.

To uphold us in the desire to lead a purified and holy life, we are endowed with the baptism of fire—the unspeakable gift of the Holy Ghost, a heavenly Comforter who accompanies and guides us as we walk in the path of righteousness.

The more we are filled with the Spirit of God, the more we extend ourselves to others. We become peacemakers in our homes and families, we help our fellowmen everywhere, and we reach out in merciful acts of kindness, forgiveness, grace, and long-suffering patience.

These are the first steps along the true way of life and fulfillment. This is the peaceable way of the follower of Jesus Christ. https://www.lds.org/general-conference/ ... e?lang=eng

So which false prophet are we to believe? Nightlion or Dieter F. Uchtdorf who said the same thing?
Riding on a speeding train; trapped inside a revolving door;
Lost in the riddle of a quatrain; Stuck in an elevator between floors.
One focal point in a random world can change your direction:
One step where events converge may alter your perception.

This betrays your misunderstanding of Joseph Smith as well. Your vulgar jump to an unwarranted conclusion proves a depraved need of self righteousness over what is true.

President Uchtdorf is NOT saying the same thing. He said 'baptism of fire' but he teaches the false gospel of it being a process that you work at in a lifelong discipleship. Many times in his discourse he makes this same inference.

Discipleship is a journey. We need the refining lessons of the journey to craft our character and purify our hearts. By patiently walking in the path of discipleship, we demonstrate to ourselves the measure of our faith and our willingness to accept God’s will rather than ours. https://www.lds.org/general-conference/ ... e?lang=eng

Saying this proves he does not know what he is talking about concerning the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost. It is a one time shot. There is no such thing as God making you a new creature over time or more than once.

Ps. 51: 10
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Hebrews 6
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

This is my big beef with the LDS apostasy. They do not know the gospel and refuse to magnify it unto the people. Rather for salesmanship they make excuses so that everyone feels justified regardless. Makes you think that they either do not read scripture or are blinded in high minded sycophancy.

What it absolutely proves is that NONE of them have come unto Christ with full purpose of heart, forsaking the world to take upon them the name of Jesus Christ in the acceptable sacrifice of the cares of this world. And God has not seen fit to give them his promise of a new heart. Thusly, none of them are or can be called prophets. AMEN.

NL, do you consider yourself Christlike? I'd suggest that Uchtdorf has been known to expresses (in word and deed) Christlike behaviors. Much more so than the rest of the FP/Q12.

In my book he rates way over your head in this department.

Everyone rates way over my head in charity. I am marred two fold. What I have accomplished in life against the outrage that no value or influence is granted has been one huge piss off. No man has carried such a contradiction save Jesus only. But even he had a few friends. I do have a wife and five kids who are kind. But they have no interest or value for what I am about. That's an anchor in the storm.

I feel like flipping off all the world. Some charity that! Everyone having done and doing so viciously unto this here, the least of his servants, is the same as having done it unto Christ himself.

The high minded prancing of the super loved casts no shadows over me.
