"High Church"

Post by _Maksutov »

Today's Kirby column admits that he recently attended church "thoroughly baked" on a cannabis gummy.

Anyone else with "high church" stories?

Actually...I do. Just a little too much wine before getting the teens together in our ward to practice dance for the Gold and Green Ball..I was a happy camper..

Reading the article though..I understand that there are consequences for drunk driving..but the fact that Shauna is a newscaster..and for KUTV at that..doesn't even give her a chance for quiet redemption. KSL can kiss my a...!

As for Kirby..well..getting high for church is just about as high he will get there..

I love Kirby.

I read the D&C while on lsd when I was in high school. It still didn't make much sense.

You too? Too bad I couldn't leave at that time due to family pressures to go on a mission. The lsd knew the truth, man. However, I did learn a language that I periodically use today and that led me to learn spanish, a language I speak almost every day with my clients. I also gained some good sales experience selling s$%t to some south americans. Other than that ......

I guess I need to change my prescription. Maybe we ought to classify lds as a schedule I drug.

A long time reader of Robert Kirby. He really backed off for a year or so. A few now are getting more pushy on the church, but still benign compared to some in the past.

Who got to him?

Maybe he is finally realizing it doesn't really matter?

LDS run KSL published the booking mug shot of a Shauna Lake and Kirby asked:

Kirby wrote:Would an LDS Church-owned media company be just as thorough in its reporting if the person in trouble were a Mormon general authority? I got my own ideas about that, but I'll leave it up to you to decide for yourself.

Lsd may very well be a better means or agent for arriving at truth than lds is. lds has set the bar very low, after all.
