The Church ought to pay me for the five years I sacrificed in the Church Historical Library suffering great poverty CORRECTING the adolescent musings of men who did not consider themselves so much prophets as they were profiteers. I do not confound Joseph Smith. I continue where he left off.

Perfect, thanks for the exact numbers to prove my point, 33 references in 60+ pages, the majority of them D&C and not one to Joseph Smith

I love it when you go defensive when compared to real spiritual men.

What you seem to forget is I've witnessed your countenance (Craig Criddle Ph.D 2009) and I've witnessed HA's countenance (many moons in the temple)

You were crazed and scared the hell out of everyone there. Your idol of stone has not served you well.

You do know there are other men who spent a lot of time and effort in the archives right? Should I name another one who's published works from that study also put you to shame?

Spoken like a true Corporate Profiteer. That's exactly what Jo Smith said, he ought to be paid for his contributions. Too bad his copyright "revelation" was a complete bust... But he did finally find a way to bilk the masses: tithing. It made him a lot of money and Briggy and the rest of them filthy rich.

But you ain't no Jo Smith. Or even a Mike Quinn for that matter who got shat on for publishing what he found there. Only another poor wannabee.

I have a set of Fred Collier's works that could teach you about Mormon Theology and again, puts your theology to shame.

Perhaps the church did not consider paying you for your time as it seems you sucked at your research based on a total failure to come away with any footnotes/quotes/texts from Joseph Smith and/or those that knew and heard him. i.e. the examination of diaries.

The two men I've noted that would have been worth their pay wrote/published volumes of footnoted texts loaded with references based on their years of research.

You fail where they succeeded ... they were good at research, they had their followers and people that respected them for their research and the works that followed.

Your claim, they had no baptism of fire (you don't know this), they did not have the mountain and/or any revelation for themselves (you don't know this), only you have that and hence don't need any references to Joseph Smith, nor anything else. You are the prophet, all else are damned.

You already made this point. I could not care less to be numbered among the scholars. They collectively have contributed squat to bringing forth and establishing Zion. Every man who puts his hand to the plow and looking back (like a historian/scholar) is unfit for the kingdom. Need a quote:

Luke 9: 62
62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
