Swinburne is brilliant, it's all the more reason why he is so stupid on this subject...... his brilliance makes his stupidity in this one area all the more dominant. It's fascinating how that works. He invokes a single deity, of course. But it doesn't work, obviously. That's not evidence, that's assertion. Besides, the reality is, we don't know WHICH deity we need to invoke, there were literally HUNDREDS in history....... I wonder if that has ever entered his cranium?
