When James was 11 years old he blinded his younger brother Albert with a pitch fork in a farming accident. After James became an apostle...he and members of the quorum of 12 along with the 1st presidency gave his brother a priesthood blessing promising him that he would be restored to full sight with all of their supposed priesthood power. Talmage's brother Albert died Blind, his sight was never restored. See page 30, right hand column
