Please, NO Mormons on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Reading that Utah US Senator Lee and a brother of his who is on the Utah Supreme Court may be in the running for US Supreme Court.
Would be a major mistake and a disaster for the US if they or any practicing Mormon were appointed.
If they are faithful or believing Mormons, especially if they are Temple Mormons they dedicate everything to the church - their allegiance would never be to the Constitution of the United States.
Sure, they will say they can keep things separate but if they actually believe the church stuff even a bit they can't do it. NO to the U.S. Supreme Court of any Mormon. Being even handed, many of the other religions may well be suspect but I know firsthand what Mormons promise in the Temple.

Americas loss will be ex-Mormonisms gains? Post Romney, if we know anything, is that the church does not fare well when the light is shone on it. If they get a supreme court justice, more and more pundits will continue to hammer away at the church. At this point, anyone that Trump would appoint is going to be pure nutter. Why not let the church take a blow at the same time America does.

I have no problem with a Mormon on the court, as long as it's not Mike Lee.

The same is true for other Bible-believing Christians. I don't see much difference.

A big difference for those LDS who have been through the Temple. Their promises and whatnot are not the same as most Christian groups.

Remember the wikileaks video of the politicians reporting to church leaders? Just imagine a Supreme Court Justice checking in to get their orders on how to vote on decisions.
