Juliann has gotten to be so horrible to deal with over there that very few even active members will engage her in a conversation now (or respond much to her comments). She seems like a very unhappy and VERY angry lady.

Uh, you forgot the part where she's a screw up.

Yup. She backed herself into a corner with this and then made sure it all got deleted.

I'd imagine that at least those who were paying attention caught it though before the evidence vanished. As I've already stated, she's not one that most want to interact with. I honestly do not know all the history, but I do wonder if she's always been so abrasive and difficult?

I just wish that you still posted over there. But, they tend to get rid of anyone who makes too much sense and who continually gets the best of them on most topics. (And apparently they also delete any posts that REALLY make them look bad  )

I say this honestly, Being banned was a good thing. I was too involved there waisting too much of my time and now unless someone here points to a thread of interest I don't even bother checking in there at all.

Not quite. Doctor Scratch had a blog on an entirely different website wherein he compiled dossiers on the more prolific mopologists. Alas, no doxxing was taking place on THIS board, and ONLY Doctor Scratch was compiling dossiers, nobody else. In fact, when he used a data point from his blog here on the board itself--specifically, a FAIR board participant's worksite--many people objected to his doing to.
[MODERATOR NOTE: It has been brought to my attention that I'm misremembering some or all of the above, so please do not take the above paragraph as gospel truth until a clarification is posted.]

But alas, the "Mr. Itchy" blog was created to force me to shut Doctor Scratch's blog down--since if I'm a moderator on this site, I obviously have the power to moderate the entire rest of the Internet as well, right? Makes perfect sense.

(like contacting my professor to make false allegations,) . . .

Juliann is (purposefully?) misremembering yet again. That incident happened four or five years after the "Mr. Itchy" fiasco when
[D'artagnan] contacted Armand Mauss, one of Juliann's professors, to see if her repeated summaries of his position were really and truly accurate summaries of his position. When Professor Mauss answered in the negative and [D'artagnan] posted his response, she reacted in typical Juliann fashion.

And to clarify:

"Z trolls:" A person who posted my real name on the old Zion's Lighthouse Message Board repeatedly and obsessively, then when called out on it created multiple variations of my first and last name as new screen names. This person even posted my wife's real name at one or more points.
"Mr. Itchy:" The blog wherein multiple users here were doxxed.

I'm quite confident that Juliann is both the Z trolls and Mr. Itchy, which might explain why she mixes them up so badly when talking with Runtu. (It also explains Calm's original comment of, "Itchy was on two boards, If I recall correctly, ZLMB and the F[AIR] M[ormon] board, but it might only have been ZLMB[.]")

Juliann memes: Someone used a meme-maker to post juliann's photo with snide commentary about her moderation style. Many such memes were made. At first they consisted of above-board humor, but everyone objected when they became sexually degrading. I myself even called out the meme-creator and asked him or her to cease and desist.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

I'm pretty sure that this is the "someone contacted my professors" incident that Juliann refers to:

http://www.mormondiscussions.com/phpBB3 ... 77&start=0

If you read, you'll see that the professors were contacted for clarification of their positions, not to rat out something Juliann said or did on the message board. Initially nothing was said about Juliann, and she only came up indirectly when one of them asked for a link to the message board.

In contrast, I know of two cases wherein a well-known Mormon apologist either threatened to contact someone's university professors/officials over their online criticisms of Mormons/Mormonism, or did contact university professors/officials for the same.

The first case was public, so I can share it: Blake Ostler threatened to contact a Greek Orthodox PhD student's board of regents over his dismissive blog comments on Mormonism. See here. I do not know whether Blake ever made good on his threat.

The second is not public and the person in question does not want it shared, so I cannot name names, but a well-known LDS apologist (no doubt someone whom Juliann likes and respects) wrote to the department head of an undergraduate student who had criticized him/her online.

I regard both of these as worse cases of RL harassment than what Juliann experienced (as represented in the thread linked above), which had less to do with her being a student of said professors and more to do with her use of their work.

Hell, someone at BYU told me that a Mopologist contacted my employer to get me in hot water. Don’t know whether this was true, but it certainly is consistent with the Mope M.O.!

I remember that. I think I’d rather have them call my employer than threaten my wife.
