Always good to see church leaders telling members how to figure out the church is not true.

from the OP link:
'relatively few'? Relative to what?! Every religious concern ever, in every possible religion? Problems with 'Church history' alone sum up a tremendous amount of the religion. No wonder, as Pearson verified, half a billion living people have a negative view of the lds religion.
Most misunderstanding about the Church can be tied to a relatively few key topics like Church history, temples, garments, Joseph Smith, polygamy, prophets, women, LGBT, and transparency.

How many other major American religious sects have histories of violence like the Mormons? Not just in Missouri but all the way to Salt Lake City and through much of the 19th century. How many other major sects have massive bodies of modern apocrypha and their apologetics which are not accepted as sacred or historical by any other religious or secular traditions?

Re: Elder Pearson's FairMormon Presentation
He keeps a black box into which he puts issues, concerns, and questions that he can’t resolve. Occasionally he opens the box and thinks about its contents.
The black box has to be huuuuuge.
“Most all of the contents have been resolved. Some I see very differently now, and others just don’t seem to matter anymore. But still, others are still there. But they don’t prevent me from moving forward with faith.”
It's wonderful how one's job, family pressure, group pressure and group think makes one believe almost anything, despite the evidence.
"Religion is about providing human community in the guise of solving problems that don’t exist or failing to solve problems that do and seeking to reconcile these contradictions and conceal the failures in bogus explanations otherwise known as theology." - Kishkumen

It sounds like Elder Pearson has been reading this board about Sanctorian's Loophole:
Eternal life is Exhaltation: https://www.lds.org/topics/eternal-life?lang=eng
“Our message to the world is simple and sincere: we invite all of God’s children on both sides of the veil to come unto their Savior, receive the blessings of the holy temple, have enduring joy, and qualify for eternal life.”

LDS.org wrote:Hundreds of FairMormon Conference attendees listen to Elder Kevin W. Pearson August 3, 2018, as he talks about the need for members to utilize social media platforms to share the gospel.
I've heard there were 78 people in attendance, but I'm sure LDS.org is correct about "hundreds of people". After all, it's not like the Church lies or exaggerates. Just ask Bill Reel if you don't believe me.

Were there any presentations on the Limited Geography Theory?
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

Judging by the photos I would say 78 is probably right.
