It’s the Church of Jesus Christ Gawd Damit
Pres Nelson has been, cough, cough impressed to sharpen the focus on how the Mormon church is referred to and gawd damit it’s not the Mormon church nor the LDS church but the freaking church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and all you heathens better conform or face the wrath of freaking god almighty.

When I first read the news about this little refocusing of how the church should be referred my first reaction was to suppress my gag reflex. I literally wanted to throw up

Up next - the new "I'm not a Mormon" media blitz.
Spend millions and millions of dollars on the "I'm a Mormon" media campaign. These guys are lucky they don't have actual stock holders.

Didn't the church get their panties in a wad a few years ago about this very same thing. If I recall correctly they sent out a notice to the press on how they wanted the church to be referenced. Of course it was ignored.

Yes they did. And if Nelson think this attempt will end any differently he’s no Seer of the future. Does he seriously think any press out side of Utah will alienate all other Christian churches by referring to the Mormons as the church of Jesus Christ? I think he’s losing it and has completely gone mad
