I did fall prey to my base/animal instincts in this case. I plead guilty.

I try to keep it at a minimum though.

I really do. But sometimes the temptation is just too strong.

I'm not perfect.

MG,

What are the keywords we could use to search for specific posts that demonstrate an "example/indication" of your moderate Mormonism?

- Doc

Click on 'mentalgymnast'. Click on 'search user's posts'. At that point you can click on one of any 354 links that are available. The more you read, the more you will see that I take, more or less, a moderate position in my postings. Yes, you will have to sift through some posts where I may take a solid position on one thing or another. But, on the whole, you will see...the more you read...and "squish" my postings together, that I am rather moderate in my views. I usually don't take a 'hard line' position one way or the other.

I think that is what may aggravate some of the dogmatic 'die hards' around here.

Happy searching!

Note: At times I have been known to take a hardline position when calling someone out. But I haven't done that as much recently. It's a fool's errand in a place like this to call a spade a spade. I've found that, for my part, it's not very productive...although on a base/animal level it's satisfying.

I suppose that's why some folks here feel free to 'let it roll'. Although I will say, except for some minor individual exceptions, there have been some improvements...as small as they might be...around here on that front.

Regards,
MG

So nothing. No keywords. No examples. Just another claim and then an abstraction. Troll gon' troll.

I'm not going to take the time to do that for you Doc. But yes, I will stick with the claim.

And I will stick with the claim, also, that the critics and dogmatic 'die hards' in regards to their opposition to the CofJCofLDS do NOT like those folks that take moderate positions on one thing or another...in the main.

Of course not. Another claim, and then an abstraction. Same crap, going on 11 years, different day.

See what I mean?!

Here's looking at you kid. Wasn't there something satisfying to your base/animal 'self' as you made that post?

There must be. You do it often enough.

Oh, and you're misquoting/misrepresenting me and what I actually said.

I love how the weasel can mind read the "critics" and claim what they like or do not like. Another silly assumption by the weasel.

There is nothing wrong with having moderate positions on things, IF YOU REALLY HAVE THEM. But the weasel does not.

He will not even give one example or a keyword to search for. Too much work for the little guy, I suppose.

I know it drives you nuts.

Be that as it may, it is what it is, right?
