Last night Bill Reel received a summons to his disciplinary court.

The conceit of these people is staggering. People are now supposed to sign a confidentiality agreement, whose only purpose is to protect the LDS church, while the LDS church is actively seeking to harm them (at least in the eyes of the LDS church)?
Whatever Mormons.

What could the Church actually do if a member signed the confidentiality agreement but still made the details of the excommunication process (because that's what it is) public?

I'm sure consig can answer that question. Would it be actionable to break the agreement?

Essentially nothing.
I am surprised Bill didn't already go through the Mormon excommunication process.
Bill should show no respect to the excommunication process. I hope he "F"s with them and embarrasses them as many did previously. The Church has no power, very few respect the Mormon church, and each year more individuals are becoming aware of the inner workings of Mormonism and this will help either dramatically change the Mormon church or destroy the Mormon church.
Give them hell Bill!

“The council will consider all the information presented…”
I'd be tempted to drop some hardcore $$$ at Kinkos, and show up with boxes and boxes of stuff. Most of it Mormon related, but some random stuff (like a repair manual for a 1991 Chevy Silverado) tossed in for good measure.

haha, that would be so funny to open this booklet and start reading about the kinder hook plates and then jump to replacing an alternator in a 91 silverado.
Not to get too personal, but do you hang with the exMo Facebook group out of vegas? After relocating out here, I used to hang with some ex Mormons here but now I just kind of do my own thing.
