Not only is it not sustainable its not a winning strategy that will allow for the church to maintain its core membership, let alone grow. The ground that is remaining for it to stand on is swiftly crumbling under its feet. Given a choice between hard difficult truth vs feel good, unsupportable truth claims, the truth will always win the day....except for the most hard core cultists.
The world is going through a change wherein people in general are awakening to a higher level of consciousness whereby humanity is evolving. Cult religions like tyrannical governments are losing the ability to stay viable and the human race is steering away from it. The rising generation is really going to change our world.
The money flow into Mormonism is going to seriously diminish and it's going to be increasingly harder to maintain expenses and keep the charade up. The church is a boring institution that is grounded on the idea of making you feel guilty if you don't measure up to the standards set up and established by grumpy old white men.
Believe me, it's over for the church. Mormonism is crashing and burning right before our eyes. It gives me a sense of joy and satisfaction knowing that this cult is finally meeting its doom.
