Plates and relics, Smith-Strang-Michigan
Smith had plates in New York. Strang had plates in Michigan. The Michigan relics included tablets, plates and much more. We know there was a relationship between the first two. But did the artifacts produced by Scotford and Soper have any connection with Mormons and Strangites, other than being inspired by their examples?

One would think that there had to be a connection. Unfortunately, I have no idea. But the forged relics looked tailor made to sell to Mormons.
