Here's the quote from Wendy Nelson courtesy of the Mormon (ahem) Newsroom:
"I have seen him changing in the last ten months,” said Sister Nelson. “It is as though he's been unleashed. He's free to finally do what he came to earth to do. … And also, he's free to follow through with things he's been concerned about but could never do. Now that he's president of [the Church], he can do those things."
She is literally stating that all Russell Nelson is doing as prophet are the things he wanted to do before but lacked the power to do.
She is also saying that Hinckley and Monson held back the work of the Lord by not agreeing to act on the things Nelson raised as concerns when they were President.

You mean to gag President Benson's mouth lest he sing, "I am a Mormon boy" on church wide video?
You mean to overturn Hinkley's use of the name Mormon?
You mean to overturn Monson's use of the name Mormon?
That's what the unleashed dog was sent to do? Run around and crap on the memory of previous church presidents? But I get the feeling that it's President NelSatan that is going to get crapped on the most after he passes.

Things
HE was concerned about? It's clear to me it's all about what HE is concerned about, not President Hinckley, not President Monson. It's all about Russell and what he wants. Now that the leash has been taken off he can do what HE wants. Never mind Hinckley, never mind Monson, and never mind the Lord.
There is a dog running loose!
Woof!

Yes, the dog can do what he wants. He's the President. It's his church. Corporation of the President. But he doesn't have much time to do it because he's 94 and his days are numbered.

Wendy Nelson has done more to expose what a farce Mormon revelation is more than anyone else since Joseph Smith.
I posted this on Twitter the other day, but it really highlights the problem:
https://Twitter.com/LDSdiscussions/status/11124984072377139201. Nelson wanted Mormon name change in Apr 1990
2. Hinckley rebuffs Nelson six months later (Oct 1990)
3. Nelson makes change as soon as he becomes prophet
4. Wendy Nelson explains what 'revelation' really is
Most members won't connect those dots, but once you see Wendy's quote in context to Nelson's 30 year mission to stop using Mormon... the illusion is over.

Ezra Taft Benson did not want the name changed -- nor did the Lord. The Lord made it clear that he did not want the name changed through Presidents Hinckley and Monson. But Apostle Nelsatan foamed at the mouth and barked like a dog. Now we see we have a renegade church president who is like a rabid dog off a leash doing whatever it wants.
Down boy!

No doubt the spirit of contention and loathing was festering the heart of Apostle NelSatan. No doubt he disagreed with Benson, Hinckley, and Monson. Apostle NelSatan was growing in the spirit of apostasy and patiently waited his turn whereby he could do what he wanted once the leash was taken off and the church was all his to do what he wanted.

I
asked him about his claim over on that board. I doubt I'll get a response, but we shall see.

In Consiglieri's latest Radio Free Mormon podcast, he explains Scott Lloyd's inexplicable reply. It is all part of a strategy by FAIRMormon designed to save face for the Church, and anything Elder Lloyd says is in furtherance of that strategy even if it means lying.
Consiglieri and Bill did not specifically say what strong oaths these apologists take to abide by that pro-church strategy, but I doubt any of us would wish for Elder Lloyd be forced to harm himself as a result of giving a truthful answer.
Hope that helps.
