An example trip is posted below. I wonder why the Book of Mormon is alive in Mesoamerica and not the heartland or northeastern U.S.?

Book of Mormon Comes Alive in Mesoamerica

Victor Ludlow will delight and uplift our group with humorous insights and informational talks on sea days. Join us on our optional private tours to make the most of your cruising adventure. Our local LDS guides in Mexico add to our experience in Cozumel as we tour the beautiful seaside ruins of Tulum. In Belize, we offer an exciting river boat ride through the jungle to see the magnificent ruins at Lamanai. Try a zip-line ride through the jungle in Roatan or enjoy a day at the beach and snorkeling. Swim with the stingrays and snorkel in Grand Cayman. Enjoy sailing with the Ludlows, Cruise Lady and an adventurous LDS group as we create memories to last a lifetime!

Cruise Lady also markets the following destinations as Book of Mormon lands, western Caribbean, Mexico, and central American locations.

Declaring these locations Book of Mormon lands is little aggressive especially now that we're seeing many lean towards the Heartland theory. I wonder if Cruise Lady will follow the money and open up a Heartland Book of Mormon lands tour? With the amount of money being thrown behind the Heartland theory it might not be a bad idea.
