Story on McKenna Denson

In an interview with FOX 13, McKenna Denson revealed a series of attacks that police in Colorado are investigating. She believes they are a result of her high-profile lawsuit.
"I think the attacks are all related to my case against the Church," she said. "My life is pretty normal besides that. I don't have any enemies that would try to poison me, torch my car, snap my wrist."

She's obviously not cut from the cloth that Joseph Smith was if no one is trying to poison her, etc.

Me being skeptical about all things Mormonism also makes me skeptical on this one.
Which sucks because there's no reason yet to think she's lying, but it just seems a little too weird that someone would try to poison her.
I hope she's not lying... I also hope people aren't poisoning her. This is a bad situation either way, but I'm trying to be patient before jumping to a conclusion on it.

Agreed. This is going to undermine her credibility horribly if any part of it is made up, but these attacks smell Jussie-Smollett-ish.
I don't like hoping she's actually being attacked, but I also hope she's telling the truth.

The story showed photos and an X-ray. That, to me, goes a LONG way toward establishing her credibility.

Perhaps she is a really dedicated actress or her cohorts went a little too far? Even so, broken bones greatly aid in credibility.

The evidence so far offered makes a case for a reasonable person to believe that she believes it happened as she said it happened.
So, I think it is good that she has gone public about it. It is possible, that by doing so, someone who has helpful information would come forward, whether it corroborates or contradicts her.
And that's basically how the process should be, in my opinion. If anything else surfaces, or if suspects are named, the process changes.

Right. I agree.
And when and if those who assaulted her are convicted, I hope they spend a long time in prison for those crimes.
20 years sounds about right.
