It most certainly does fail at every level. There isn't anyone alive who believes this book to be authentic except for believing members of the Mormon cult. The entire world rejects the Book of Abraham as a fraud.

I think what Joseph Smith did to the papyrus was outrageous and he purposefully slandered the Egyptians having no regard for the memory of those who are dead. Joseph Smith was rude, inconsiderate, and a man who lied at every turn, just like Donald Trump does today.

The Book of Abraham is utter garbage.
