The Book of Mormon mentions Hagoth - "he being an exceedingly curious man, therefore he went forth and built him an exceedingly large ship"
Then he built more ships and more Nephites set sail.
No mention of Lamanites on these luxury cruises.
How did L-d$,inc get from Nephites sailing away to Lamanites on all the South Sea Islands?

It was a literary trick Joseph Smith employed to set himself up for a sequel in case the Book of Mormon really took off.
Joseph was probably hoping for an entire series, much like a more boring version of Harry Potter. The sequel was going to be "Hagoth: The Other Side of Heaven."
