Church Considering Worthiness Interviews of 8-11 year olds?

Seems someone logged into their LDS org (or whatever the current domain name is) account and was prompted to participate in this survey. Doesn't in of itself mean it will go anywhere. From the results they may swiftly decide to go nowhere near this idea in practice. But, the fact that they're conducting the poll says they are in fact talking about and considering this idea with some level of seriousness. That is sufficiently horrifying.

It's just like cock-sure psychopaths to want to double down when faced with rejection from the Sam Youngs of the world.

They’re considering allowing Young Men’s Presidents or Counsellors conduct one on one interviews with 8-11 year olds? They might as well change the sign on the door to “Visitors and Pedophiles Welcome”.

I hope this isn’t legit. Because if it is then there is no moral compass anywhere in the leadership of the Church and they are just farming members and are desperate to indoctrinate people as young as possible, no matter the collateral risk of creating victims.

This is a horrific survey. How could they even survey this? Are they stupid? Or as Exiled states, simply brazen?

This needs to be national news.

If so, I foresee:

The courts around the world will go after The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and shut them down!

Mobs will go after The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and punish it!

IF the church pursues this I predict their will be a military like attack against the church to include burning down temples and stake centers and even assassinations against the leaders of the church.

The church best leave the 8-11 year old children alone if it knows what's good for it.

Yes, some of the "interviews" will end up with sexual crimes. But in my opinion the more devastating outcome will be millions of children who from age 8 will come to believe that they are born defective. They will have zero self-esteem. They will question their right to go on living. Some will commit suicide. And their parents will be the prime enablers of all this devastation.

It’s now in the news.

I doubt surveys of this nature are sent out unless authorised by an Apostle, so there are some probable conclusions we can draw:

- The leaders of the Church have discussed and think an untrained, unvetted, second counsellor in the young men's presidency interviewing an 8 year old boy or girl about his worthiness behind closed doors is acceptable practice. People like this guy will be allowed to interview your 8 year old daughter about her worthiness.

- The leaders of the Church want members from the age of 8 to be regularly interviewed about their worthiness.

- Church Leaders have learnt nothing at the expense of victims of the lack of discernment and lack of safeguarding standards in the Church.

- The Church is now being run by surveying the members preferences, not divine inspiration. We now have the situation where Church Leaders have (presumably) fasted and prayed about worthiness interviews for 8 year olds and have been inspired that they are the right thing to do. However, instead of going ahead they decided to survey the members.

So the members don't like what God has prompted His leaders to do...now what? As I said on another thread, there's nobody doing more damage to the church than the Presidency and Apostles of the church. At a time when they should be stopping entirely the one to one interviews of minors, the Church is actively seeking to extend the practice to the 8 - 11 year old age group and extend the authorisation to a wider and more risky range of unvetted untrained adults. This is the kind of move a pedaphile ring would make if one were in charge of the Church.

This would also be incredibly reckless to do to the future leaders doing the interviewing--putting them in compromising situations where accusations could ruin their lives.

I'm sure that every single apostle in today's Mormonism is guilty of child abuse in asking children sexually explicit questions back when they were bishops and stake presidents. The apostles of the church are scum of the earth and love to abuse and manipulate others by using their priesthood badge.

Shame on the Mormon apostles. They are criminally minded men. They are crooked and have evil intent against the rest of the world thinking the rest of the world is evil and deserves to be burned by Christ at a second coming. The Mormon church disgusts me. As far as I'm concerned every single one of the apostles are felons and child molesters and I wish they were all prosecuted for those crimes and sent to prison.

I wonder how many sexually explicit questions NelSatan has asked children during his Mormon priesthood career? I wonder just what those questions were? Well, how about it, NelSatan? What did you ask when you damaged those children -- you freaking monster?

Are they trying to plug a leakage gap of 8 to 11 year olds disaffecting from the Mormon church?

Are they trying to double-down on the indoctrination at ever earlier ages?

Bad church, bad.
