I personally love the missing evidence theories the mopes like Gee try to serve up. I mean if one is to make s___ up, why not go all the way? Also, it works so nicely that I'm going to try and incorporate it into my legal practice tomorrow.

Your honor, my client obviously didn't commit the murder. I refer you to exhibit A. I know it's blank but that is merely a representation of the powerful evidence that I have that someone else did the heinous act. I know that there is video evidence and 20 witnesses that say otherwise. But, but, your honor, my client says he didn't do it and the missing evidence clearly shows that somebody else must have committed the dastardly act that is before this honorable court. Your honor, I invite you to use your feelings on this one. I know my invisible evidence is true and faithful and will completely and totally exonerate my client. If you would but choose to believe, or dare to believe the invisible evidence and all of the possibilities that you can insert at your pleasure, I know you will see things my way and declare with soberness and humility, that my client is not guilty. Thank you.

Just how is it that everyone else can actually see this and see the analogy except Mormons?

Has John Gee made any public statement about the missing snout on Anubis as published in the Times & Seasons and new evidence (thanks to me) that suggest the snout was scraped or hacked off the original printing plate?

Has Gee said anything along these lines? It seems to me that apologists are not treating this issue seriously and don't give a damn about people learning the truth. I think they are scared to death to address this issue.

Cognitive dissonance: Gee and his mope colleagues work hard to justify their nonsense because they are so emotionally invested and tied to their work, or paid, that they are "forced" to find an answer no matter how silly or duplicitous it is.

Knowledgeable members grasp on due to desperation. Other members just want to rely on the fact that an answer, any answer, is given.

Yeah, this is a good find that shows exactly how the mopes are viewed outside their small circle. They have to be cognizant of this and maybe this explains the Midge's rancor.

Yes it could very well explain Midgley's rancor all right. They want respect, but won't do what it takes to get it from the world, actual valid scholarship and letting the evidence dictate what reality is instead of pretending to know what reality is, and using only the evidence that points to that "testimony" of truth only they are worthy of having via God, while ignoring everything that is contrary.

They all only ever do HALF of Bayes Theorem. That's the problem. It's Bayes all the way, using all the evidence available, no matter how uncomfortable, or bust. Perhaps someday God might take pity on them and let them in on the little secret of why they are so silly in the world's eyes.
