This lecture from Alan Watts concerning God, is one of the most excellent 25 minutes I have ever spent listening on You Tube. Truly fantastic stuff here. What a marvelous lecture! No one matches Alan Watts for exciting spiritual and profound knowledge in lectures. The Brethren really, really, REALLY need to start listening to his delivery and make their own this instructive, interesting, spiritual and uplifting.

Joseph Campbell demonstrated over and over again that the imagery of the entire birth of the entire cosmos is that it emerges from the mother's womb of creation. It is the Goddess which is our ground. It is from the Goddess that all there is, is. This is so magnificent and makes so much sense to me. I never understood the reticence of Mormonism against the Divine Feminine when literally all other religions in the East had it. Including the ancient Jews. Patriarchy has done a dastardly job against Mom. It's time to seriously rebel. What, do we actually think Dad is gonna be able to spank us when we get back home when Mom is hugging us and telling us what good kids we actually were? 8-)

Yep. The Goddess gets short shrift in Mormonism. There is probably some curse on the Church for ignoring Heavenly Mother. And, you are right, Alan Watts is great fun to listen to and to read!
